Heartland offers several ways for you to become connected to other believers, grow in your faith and serve the Lord. We engage in a variety of ministries that build up and encourage our members as well as reach out to our community and the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We provide weekly discipleship and fellowship opportunities for children, youth and adults on Sunday mornings. Wednesday night discipleship classes for all ages allow for more time to explore and apply God's Word to our lives.
Special activities such as Vacation Bible School for children and youth trips challenge and change young lives for Christ.
Our women's ministry draws women closer to the Lord and one another through special Bible studies, the Secret Sisters ministry, and events such as our annual women's tea.
Missions is a priority at Heartland. We support five overseas missionary families, two local ministries and the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program which sends thousands of missionaries around the globe. Throughout the year missionaries provide ministry updates to the congregation during Sunday morning worship services. Church members also participate in missions by engaging in local projects and going on overseas mission trips.
There are many other ministries at Heartland that provide ways for you to deepen your walk with the Lord by serving the Body of Christ. Ministries such as our praise team and tech team are visible to the entire congregation, while other ministries such as serving as a children's teacher, bringing food to a fellowship dinner or working to improve our facilities are behind the scenes. Each way of serving is equally important for the cause of Christ.
Everyone has a place at Heartland to grow spiritually by serving the Lord. We'd love for you to join us!
